Quick 2 Person Biscuits

I love sprucing up leftover night with something fresh, that won’t end up giving us more leftovers. This quick recipe is a great way to have something fresh on the table without taking up too much time. You can change the flavor of the basic recipe, by adding your own touches with herbs and cheeses.

Ingredients:

1/4 cup of Flour

3/4 teaspoon of Baking Powder

Dash of salt

1 tablespoon of butter (cold)

1 teaspoon of sugar

Milk

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven 450 F
  2. Combine Flour, Baking Powder, Salt and Sugar. Cut in cold butter with fork until butter is in tiny pieces mixed into the flour mixture.
  3. Add enough milk to make dough (there should be no flour stuck to sides of bowl).
  4. Shape into round biscuits with hands, about 1/2 inch thick.
  5. Bake on un-greased cookie pan (middle of oven) for 10-11 minutes, or golden brown. (Cleanup saver, place parchment or aluminum foil on tray first)
